Real Books. Real Authors. Real Results.
Every project you see here started as a manuscript — often from a first-time author.
My role is to transform those stories into fully illustrated, professionally designed children’s books that are ready for print and publishing.
Here’s a selection of recent projects.
Four Small Boys From Wales
Age Range: 6+ reading (4+ storybook)
Format: 32-page hardback
Services Provided: Full illustration, cover design, layout, promotion, marketing, video
A real life adventure story that explores friendship, facing up to bullies and the hilarious sweet taste of revenge.
We developed fun, colourful, expressive characters and exciting, immersive, funny illustrations.
The final book was bold and bright and printed as a high quality hardback.
Gallant St George and the Dragon of Wales

How I approach every project
Every book begins with planning.
Before full illustrations begin, we:
Map out pagination
Agree on trim size
Develop characters
Refine the visual style
Confirm illustration types (double-page spreads, spots, vignettes)
This ensures the finished book feels structured and professional — not improvised.
Support beyond illustration
Many authors also choose to include:
Amazon listing graphics
Social media launch visuals
Author branding assets
Posters and bookmarks
School visit materials
All designed to match the visual style of the book.
What you’ll notice across my work
✔ Strong character expression
✔ Clear visual storytelling
✔ Professional typography
✔ Print-ready accuracy
✔ Consistent visual tone
Whether your story is gentle and emotional or bold and playful, the goal is the same:
To create a book that feels like it belongs in a bookshop.
Thinking about your own book?
If you’ve written a manuscript and would like to explore what it could look like illustrated, I’d love to hear about it.
